What are the admission criteria for your academy? Is there an age limit?

To begin the admission process, applicants must submit the required documentation (please contact us for the full list of required materials). After document submission, applicants will undergo an interview conducted by officials from Chamberlain Hunt American Academy. If the interview is successful, the candidate’s file will proceed to the next stage of the process. In case of an unsuccessful interview, applicants may retake the interview after one week.

2. What is the admission procedure, and what documents are required?

The admission process involves filling out application forms, submitting academic transcripts, and registering for courses. This procedure is streamlined and straightforward for prospective students.

3. What should I do if I fail the admission interview?

If an applicant does not pass the admission interview, they are eligible to re-appear for the interview after one week.

4. Is there a re-examination if I fail the entrance exam? Will I need to pay for it?

There is no additional re-exam fee. If the entrance exam is failed, applicants may retake the exam as per the academy’s guidelines. Please note that no fees are charged for re-taking the exam.

5. How can I contact my class teachers if I need assistance with a problem?

Students will be provided with their own email addresses to communicate directly with their teachers and faculty members. This ensures that students can easily seek academic support and resolve any issues they may encounter during their studies.

6. Can I withdraw from a course after paying the tuition? What is the refund policy?

Yes, students may withdraw from a course after payment, but certain conditions apply regarding refunds:
Enrollment fees are non-refundable.
If a withdrawal occurs within 30 days, a full refund is issued.
If withdrawal occurs after 30 days but before 6 months, students are eligible for a refund of half the full tuition (i.e., the tuition for the second semester is refunded).
After 6 months, no refund will be issued.

7. Is your high school accredited?

Chamberlain Hunt American Academy collaborates with accredited institutions, ensuring that our students receive a high school diploma recognized by educational authorities. Our partnership with Obridge Academy guarantees that our graduates earn a diploma accredited by both COGNIA and SACS—the same accreditors used by public schools in the U.S.

8. How are semester mid-term and final exams conducted?

All exams, including assignments, mid-terms, and final exams, are managed through a unified system on Blackboard. The exams and assignments are uploaded to this platform, and students’ work is tracked continuously throughout both semesters, contributing to their overall credits.

9. Am I eligible to apply to U.S. colleges and universities after graduating from your high school and obtaining your diploma?

Yes, graduates of Chamberlain Hunt American Academy are eligible to apply to U.S. colleges and universities, as our high school diploma meets the required academic standards recognized by higher education institutions.

10. Do tuition fees cover learning materials, such as textbooks? What is included?

No physical textbooks are required for our courses. All required reading materials are provided digitally through e-books. However, students must have access to a laptop or desktop computer and a reliable internet connection to access these materials.

11. Can I transfer my credits to another U.S. school after graduating from your academy?

Yes, we accept credit transfers to other U.S. schools. However, transcripts from international institutions must be notarized or carry an apostille for verification.

12. What are the benefits of taking an online course at your academy?

Students enrolled in online courses at Chamberlain Hunt American Academy benefit from a flexible learning schedule, allowing them to study at their own pace. 13. How is taking an online course better than an on-site course for me?

Online courses offer the flexibility to study from anywhere, providing students with the freedom to manage their time effectively. Moreover, completing an online course allows students to earn a U.S. high school diploma, which is internationally recognized. This approach saves both time and costs associated with relocating to the U.S. for on-site education.

14. I am currently enrolled in middle school or high school in my home country. Can I take additional courses from your academy to earn your diploma? How much does it cost?

This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, as the courses required will vary depending on your individual academic history. Please contact us for a personalized assessment and cost breakdown.

15. Where and how can I pay my tuition fees?

Tuition payments should be made to the Shumud American Academy account in Mississippi, USA, as this institution is the parent organization of Chamberlain Hunt American Academy.

16. What other courses are available besides high school programs?

Chamberlain Hunt American Academy is launching several professional development programs, including training for N-CLEX (Nursing Certification),Medical Assistant and Project Management. 17. When do semesters begin and end?

Our academy operates on a year-round schedule, and there are no fixed start or end dates. Each student follows a self-paced learning model. The second semester typically takes 5 months to complete, with students required to submit 2 assignments per week for each course. Some students may complete coursework faster by working ahead.

18. Do you enroll adult learners?
